Nutrient Export from Land to Sea (Global NEWS)

The Global NEWS workgroup developed global river nutrient export models and apply it in an integrated approach to connect socioeconomic factors and nutrient management to river export of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), silica (Si) and carbon (C) and nutrient forms in a spatially explicit way. We present the results of past trends (1970 - 2000) and four future scenarios (2030 and 2050) based on the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment scenarios.

Manila Bay Data Resources

The Manila Bay Data Resources is a database which includes the data gathered throughout the course of the research project on Nutrient Loading to Manila Bay. It has different data categories (e.g. spread sheets, documents, images, articles, etc.). It also includes different data types (watershed data, water quality, river data, reports, and publications).

Effects of ambient DIN:DIP ratio on the nitrogen uptake of harmful dinoflagellate Prorocentrum minimum and Prorocentrum donghaiense in turbidistat

This research examined the effects of varying nitrogen (N): phosphorus (P) ratios on the growth and N-uptake and assimilation of the harmful dinoflagellates Prorocentrum minimum and Prorocentrum donghaiense in turbidistat culture experiments.
